STAND are now accepting applications for their “Global Issues” courses.
If you’re passionate about issues such as migration, environment, peace and conflict, sign up for these online sessions! Students from all disciplines are welcome, and no prior knowledge of development issues is required.
You can choose any one of the 6-week long blocks below:
- Series 1: Mondays, from 12th February to 18th March (Monday 18th is a Bank Holiday, but there will still be a session on that day)
- Series 2:Tuesdays, from 13th February to 19th March
- Series 3: Wednesdays, from 14th February to 20th March
Why Join? The STAND Global Issues courses are now open for applications, offering an exciting opportunity for students to learn more about social justice issues while enhancing their CVs. We welcome students from all disciplines, and no prior knowledge of development issues is required.
What’s In Store? Each online session, running for two hours per week over six weeks, delves into diverse topics such as Migration, Environment, Peace and Conflict. Facilitated by different experts, researchers, or activists with extensive field experience, these courses provide valuable insights and foster engaging discussions. Upon completion, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from STAND.
