The leapcard year is from September to September.

The new Student Leap Card, with the new printed expiry date of 30th September 2025 will be issued from all agents from Tuesday 27th August. An email will be sent out to all existing Student Leap cardholders on Tuesday 27th August, stating that they can/should renew their card online (and proceed to any SLC Agent). Any student looking for a Student Leap Card now should be asked to come back from 27th August, for the new card expiring 30/09/2025. (Remember, they have a grace period till 21st October ’24 to use up any remaining credit on their current SLC card). Any student looking for a Student Leap Card with the new expiry date of 30/09/2025 will need to show, as usual, their student training/education credentials for this next academic period.
